Following graduation from the Florida State University College of Law, Rich began working at a Tallahassee firm for which he had served as a law clerk during law school. During his early legal career, Rich participated in litigation matters between large corporations in both state and federal courts. Since that time, in addition to representing clients in the courtroom, Rich has regularly assisted his business clients in the area of transactions involving the buying or selling of businesses, shareholder agreements, vendor agreements, and employment agreements. Rich has also represented his clients before state regulatory and legislative bodies in lobbying those entities to pass regulations and legislation benefiting his clients.

Rich was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993. Like the firm, Rich is not limited to any particular state in his representation of dealers. Most recently, Rich has undertaken the lead role in litigating the discontinuance of the Oldsmobile line-make against General Motors on behalf of numerous Oldsmobile dealers across the United States. Rich has also been very involved in assisting our dealer clients in the areas of manufacturer facility and incentive programs, franchise realignment and upgrading dealer franchise laws. In addition, Rich speaks before various dealer associations and groups concerning issues important to our dealer clients as well as contributing to industry periodicals and newsletters.

In his time away from the office, Rich serves as a Board member and Past President of the American Heart Association, Leon Division and as a member of Leadership Tallahassee, as well as engaging in outdoor pursuits including hunting, fishing, mountain biking and golf.
